However, the track’s deteriorating condition threatens the future of this tradition. Without necessary repairs, we risk losing the ability to safely host this beloved event. What’s the Plan?

To restore Lake Garnett Raceway, we’ve outlined a comprehensive plan:

Resurfacing the Track

Repaving the road to create a smoother, safer surface for both motorsport enthusiasts and park visitors.

Culvert Repairs

Addressing structural issues, including the deteriorated culverts at Mule-shoe, the Country Club Straight, and the back straight, to prevent further damage and ensure long-term stability.

Maintaining the road’s charm as a multipurpose park road. Our goal is not to transform it into a modern racetrack but to preserve its unique character for shared use by all who love the park.
