Please join us as we celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
This year would have marked Tracy’s 14th year with the Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival. To honor the passion, dedication, and heart he poured into the Revival, we will be lapping North Lake 14 times. One lap for each year he helped make this incredible event what it is today.
Saturday, August 1
Begin gathering after 2:00 p.m. – Track will close and memorial laps will start at 3:00pm
East Shelter House – North Lake, Garnett, Kansas

For our LGGPR family, we’ll be parking in the grass area that normally serves as the paddock. Please wear your favorite LGGPR shirt.
Let the sound of engines, music, and memories fill the air as we celebrate a life so beautifully lived.
After the memorial drive, we’ll gather at the Community Building next to the Rock Stadium to share a light meal, refreshments, and, most importantly, the stories that made Tracy who he was. Bring your favorite memories, your laughter, and maybe even a few tears as we remember the man who had a way of bringing people together.
Tracy spent his life showing up for others. He gave his time without hesitation, loved his family without limits, and believed that a strong community was built by neighbors helping neighbors. He spent 40 years beside the love of his life, doing what many of us could never say we have done. He lived each day with the unwavering intention of leaving this world better than he found it, and by every measure, he did.
Whether you knew Tracy through family, friendship, the Grand Prix Revival, one of the many organizations he served, or simply because he never met a stranger, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating a life that left an unforgettable mark on our community.
All vehicles are welcome. Whether you’re driving a tractor, golf cart, Corvette, Polaris, motorcycle, or your everyday ride, we’d love to have you join us for one final drive in Tracy’s honor.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every prayer, kind word, visit, meal, hug, and memory you’ve shared with our family. The love you’ve shown Tracy and all of us has meant more than words can express. We are forever grateful.
One last drive. Fourteen final laps. A lifetime of memories.
We’ll see you at the starting line. ![]()
