2018 Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival Registration Update

Dear Lake Garnett Grand Prix Registrants:

Thank you for your patience while we have sorted out the details on our 2018 event. It was gut-wrenching for us to have to postpone, but after receiving 11” of rain over a 36-hour period (and more intermittent rain over the weekend), the flooding at the track made holding the Revival an impossible proposition.

As we previously announced, we have rescheduled this year’s event for Veterans Day weekend, November 9-11, 2018. We realize that an early November event in the Midwest is a roll-of-the-dice, but it’s historically been very pleasant that weekend, so we hope that history repeats itself.

If you plan on attending the rescheduled Revival, then there’s nothing you need to do. Keep an eye on the posted event schedule on the www.lggpr.org website (although we don’t anticipate any changes), and we’ll plan on seeing you on November 9th.

However, we know that’s probably not the case for everyone and if you are unable to attend, we need for you to carefully read through the options below, and respond to the email address of registration@lggpr.org with your decision no later than November 1st. After November 1st, no credits or refunds will be issued.

Option 1- Donation

You can elect to have your registration amount donated to charity (minus the cost of any shirts you purchased), and we will ship you your 2018 event shirts and dash plaques. To date, the LGGPR has raised nearly $25,000 for local charities, and your participation and donations in our event have gone a long way with the goodwill of the Garnett community – thank you for your generosity!!

Option 2 – Credit

You can elect to receive a credit towards the 2019 event, minus $20 for your event T-shirt and dash plaque, and the cost of any event shirts you purchased, all of which we will ship to you. If you don’t want your event T-shirt and dash plaque, you need to specify that in your email. The credit will be tracked in our database and can only be used towards your registration for next year’s event.

Option 3 – Refund

You can elect to receive a complete refund, minus $20 for your event T-shirt and dash plaque, and the cost of any event shirts you purchased, all of which we will ship to you. If you don’t want your event T-shirt and dash plaque, you need to specify that in your email. If you paid by credit card, the refund goes back on that card. If you paid by check, we’ll send you a refund check.

THE DEADLINE FOR YOUR RESPONSE IS NOVEMBER 1st. After that date, no refunds or credits will be issued and you will automatically be assigned Option 1. Again – all responses must be directed to the registration@lggpr.org email address.
